Let’s be honest, being a parent is intense. Sleepless nights, endless laundry, juggling work and home, and somehow trying to remember to eat lunch before 5 PM. As a mama myself, I can tell you… the struggle is real. My daughter Anna, for example, is a sweet little angel, but sleep? Not her favorite hobby. Some nights I barely close my eyes before she wakes again. And yet, somehow, I still want my skin to look healthy, hydrated, and glowing.
It’s not just mamas though. Dads juggling work, hobbies, parenting, and life in general also know the struggle. Skincare isn’t gendered, it’s for anyone who wants to survive a busy life and still feel good in their skin.
And then there are all the busy humans without kids who get that classic line: “How come you have no time? You don’t even have kids!” I want to be honest here, back when I didn’t have kids, I had a real allergy to parents pointing fingers like that. So for anyone who has ever felt this way, I wanted to say it out loud: you’re busy, your life is full, and it’s just as valid as anyone else’s. Different kind of busy, same struggle. ;-)
Simple skincare rules for busy parents and professionals
Before we dive into the full routine, here are a few golden rules that make skincare work for anyone with a packed schedule. Keep it simple, skip what doesn't serve you, and remember that consistency beats perfection every time.
1. Less really is more
Good news: your skin doesn’t need twelve steps to be healthy. Lucky us, a simple, well-chosen routine often works best. Less irritation, less stress, less time in front of the mirror. And yes, I’m saying this while gently poking at a few beauty myths. Sometimes less really is more, even if it goes against what some skincare pros preach.
2. Over-cleansing? Skip it
Morning cleansing doesn’t have to be complicated. Splash your face with water in the shower and you’re good to go. You can use our cleanser, but if you did a proper night cleanse, it’s not mandatory. Honestly, I know I’m again stepping on the toes of some beauty specialists here, but my experience, and that of my customers, proves it: less cleansing often works better.
That said, I do like to wipe off any lingering makeup with our Micellar Water. Even after a thorough evening cleanse, sometimes a bit of mascara remains. Quick, efficient, done.
3. Instead of layering, mix it up
Mornings are chaotic. Who has the energy to layer every product separately? Not me. That’s why I love mixing a serum (Bright’n Up or Stay Balanced) with moisturizer and a few drops of tanning drops in my hand. One swipe, one happy skin, one less thing to think about.
Pro tip: Use slightly less product than usual, so it spreads nicely. The effect is still there, and it’s faster (and cheaper)!

Skincare tips for postpartum glow
I became a mama for the second time five months ago, and my skincare priorities shifted. Sleepless nights? Check. Glow? Check. My tanning drops and eye cream have become absolute essentials. Morning or night, the eye cream is the one step I never skip.
For the glow, you simply add 3–5 drops of tanning drops to your moisturizer, and voilà. After a few hours, your skin has that healthy, sun-kissed glow that can last for several days. I usually start with 5 drops, and in the following days, I’ll add just one more here and there to maintain it. Experiment to find the perfect amount that feels right for your skin.
And then there’s the last product that truly became essential: our Scratch-Free Body & Face Cream. During pregnancy, and in the months after giving birth, my skin got incredibly dry. This cream brought instant relief. I even sometimes got up in the middle of the night because I’d forgotten to put it on and my skin was too itchy.
