We love shining a light on our ambassadors. With their unique expertise, their passion for wellbeing, and the wisdom to live in harmony with ourselves and nature, I can only be inspired.
Today, we’re excited to introduce Michelle, the inspiring woman behind Intimichi. With her background in clinical psychology, sexology, energy work, yoga, and hypnosis, Michelle has made it her mission to help people reconnect with themselves. Their body, their sensuality, their energy, and their joy of life. In this blog, she shares her perspective on radical self-care and how they all intertwine in creating a deeply fulfilling life.

Autumn reflections: self-care, connection & freedom
Creating space for connection
People don’t come to me to talk about their problems, they come to reconnect with themselves and step back into their power.
I create a space where people can restore that connection with their intuition, energy, sexuality, self-confidence, and emotions. It’s a place to discover the keys to mental, emotional, physical, and intimate wellbeing. A place where you can experience what it feels like to feel at ease in your body and to start building a life that truly feels right for you. A life with meaning, joy, and play. I sometimes call it erotic living, where your creative, sensual energy and joie de vivre can flow freely.
Alongside therapy, it feels only natural for me to contribute to a society with more awareness and sex-positivity. My group work and my book are part of that mission. And for those willing to listen, I’ll always explain how valuable it is to be conscious of what you put on and into your body. That’s how I found nourist. No nasties in my body, it’s a f*cking temple. The more you connect with your body and nature, the more you support the planet too. That’s no small bonus.
Self-care
For me, self-care is about becoming sensitive to the subtle shifts in how close (or far) you feel from yourself. And that only happens when you take the time to regularly check in.
That’s why I’m a big fan of rituals. Daily, if possible. A moment that helps you reconnect: a mindful shower to wash away the day, applying your day cream slowly and intentionally, sitting down for a few conscious breaths, pulling an oracle card, asking yourself “does this still feel right?”, a walk in nature, free movement in the kitchen (music is medicine! Check out my seasonal playlists: Spotify playlist), self-massage, solo-sex, or simply sitting down and doing nothing (no scrolling, the technological evolution and addictions decrease the quality of our intimate lives & intuition enormously)
Self-care can also mean breaking patterns that no longer serve you and that’s much harder than buying fancy bath bombs (which you’ll probably let sit on the shelf anyway because they were so expensive). There’s so much noise out there about what we should or could do to feel good, that it’s not always easy to find what truly resonates for you.
Self-care can also be very basic. Focusing on the foundations of wellbeing; sleep, food, and movement. And yes, those three are strongly linked to intimacy and sexuality. Life itself is finite, while the to-do list never ends. If you want to keep playing the game, invest in your fuel instead of only chasing the end goals. And when you do reach a milestone? Take the time to celebrate it, to be proud, grateful, and content.
And here’s something powerful I want you to know. I stand for an “and-and mindset.” The day I moved from “either-or” to “and-and”, a whole new world opened up. Try it! When you catch yourself thinking you have to choose, remember that choosing doesn’t have to mean losing. Sweet and savory. Loving a man and a woman. Being a therapist and an entrepreneur. Living slowly and going full power. Coffee or tea? Why not both.
Freedom
Freedom is one of my deepest values.
My lifestyle, my work, my relationships, my sexuality… They it's a bit non-conforming, or atypical, but so extremely delicious. I got here by being radically honest with myself: Who am I? What lights me up? How can I move towards that and what do I need to let go? I call this process 'rewilding'. Stripping all the layers to connect with your essence again. Everything you need is already there. It truly makes one magnetic. From that place of acceptance, I’ve found constructive ways to express myself while respecting and aligning with those around me. It’s a process that requires care, emotional intelligence, and communication. But it’s absolutely worth it!
This honesty made me re-examine even my work as a so-called “self-employed” therapist. Shouldn’t entrepreneurship be about freedom? Then why was I always tired? Why was taking time off so difficult? Why did I feel like I was never done? My calendar was full six months in advance, and when I took a break, clients were disappointed. I felt anything but free.
So, I started designing my business differently, in cycles, aligned with the seasons. Each year I literally draw a circle and map out what feels right for me in terms of work and play (and over the years, much of my work has become play!). In summer, for example, when clients can more easily miss me, I spend extended time abroad. I surf, teach yoga, guide workshops or energy sessions, but mostly I simply be in nature.
As a therapist, it’s essential to do regular “inner housekeeping,” to move, nourish, and recharge yourself so that your creativity keeps flowing and you embody the very things you guide others through. These days, I also support many fellow health care professionals in doing this inner work.
How nourist supports
Investing in your inner world and health allows you to radiate from the inside out. I wear less makeup than ever, yet people often tell me I glow! Even more since I started my nourist routine. Maybe it’s the softness of the cleanser? Or standing on your head (or practicing any yoga, pilates, dance, or massage) helps too.
The connection I have with nourist is something I truly cherish. Daily, I use the cleanser and moisturizer. Besides being a sensual woman, I'm also a very practical person. And this simple and practical ritual never gets skipped. Sometimes I add a serum, depending on the season.
And on workshop days? I always go for the deo balm, my go-to when I need to perform at 200%! I even share the deo roll-ons with participants in my Sexual Empowerment workshops, explaining how important it is to keep the lymphatic area around the armpits and breasts free from toxins and other bullshits.
Our bodies aren’t just vessels, they’re temples. They are the houses of our souls, cheesy but true. It truly matters how we care for it. And how you touch it, listen to it, look at it, move it, often tells al lot about how you live.
Your invitations
Self-care, connection, freedom, and the and-and mindset, they’re not abstract ideas. They’re practices you can integrate daily. Here are a few invitations for you:
- Dance it out: Put on your favorite song right now and let yourself move freely. Shake, jump, laugh, sweat. Feel how quickly your energy shifts.
- Redefine work & play: Grab a piece of paper and write down: What is “work” for you? What is “play”? What really needs to get done? And where can you add more play into your schedule?
- Create a micro-ritual: Choose one simple act today (washing your face, drinking tea, breathing deeply) and turn it into a mindful ritual. See how it changes your presence.
